Tokyo Station Hotel (1-9-1 Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) will offer Japan’s first concept room in collaboration with the long-established British fabric brand LIBERTY from April 1. Reservations for the stay will be accepted from today, March 13.
While retaining the Tokyo Station Hotel’s character, which celebrated its 110th anniversary this year, LIBERTY fabrics were used throughout the room, from the wallpaper, curtains, sofa, cushions, bed throw and its lining, to express the LIBERTY worldview. The fabrics were imported from the UK for this concept room, and the LIBERTY UK design team specially prepared the room.
Limited to two rooms per day, the hotel will offer two types of rooms: the 34m2 Palace Side Comfort King “HERA” and the 52m2 Palace View Deluxe Twin “JADE”.
HERA is a king-type room named after the iconic peacock fabric. JADE, on the other hand, is dominated by the curtains and wallpaper depicting large flowers and plants that catch the eye upon entering the room.
Rates start at 101,848 yen for the “LIBERTY Room with Breakfast Plan” that includes a buffet breakfast in the atrium (up to two persons per room).
The “LIBERTY Room with In-Room Afternoon Tea” plan, which allows guests to enjoy the highly popular LIBERTY afternoon tea in their rooms and includes a buffet breakfast and an original LIBERTY pouch as a souvenir, is also available for 127,848 yen and up (up to two persons per room).
