Unlimited Ride + Round Trip Shinkansen “Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Ticket” goes on sale April 1. From/to Kansai and Chugoku area

JR West and JR Tokai will release the “Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Ticket” (2025 edition), a special value-added excursion set, on April 1.

The Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route is a mountain sightseeing route that offers spectacular views of the 3000-meter-high Tateyama Mountain Range and Kurobe Dam by taking six different vehicles including cable cars, buses, and ropeways between Tateyama Station (Toyama Prefecture) and Ogisawa (Nagano Prefecture).

The Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Ticket allows almost unlimited rides on trains and buses within the Alpine Route (Toyama to Shinano Omachi), and also allows a reserved seat (round trip) in a standard car of limited express trains and Shinkansen bullet trains to and from the Alpine Route.

In addition, passengers can use the Hokuriku Shinkansen ordinary car reserved seat once per one-way trip between Tsuruga and Toyama and between Tsuruga and Itoigawa when traveling via the round trip Hokuriku Shinkansen, and between Tsuruga and Toyama when traveling via the Hokuriku Shinkansen and Chuo Line.

In addition, via the Hokuriku Shinkansen and Chuo Line, passengers can make stopovers at Shinano-Omachi to Matsumoto on the Oito Line, Nakatsugawa to Senma on the Chuo Line, and Kanazawa Station on the Hokuriku Shinkansen, and via the round trip Hokuriku Shinkansen, Shinano-Omachi to Itoigawa on the Oito Line and Kanazawa Station on the Hokuriku Shinkansen.
