Hankyu Corporation and JR West will release the “Hankyu/JR West Kyoto 2-way Pass” via the “KANSAI MaaS” smartphone application. The fare is 1,300 yen for adults, and will be available from April 1 to October 31 (can be purchased one month prior to the date of use).
This QR ticket allows unlimited one-day rides on the Hankyu and JR lines between Osaka and Kyoto on free round-trip sections. When using Hankyu’s seat reservation service “PRiVACE” or JR’s limited express trains or Shin-Kaisoku A-seat, purchase of a limited express ticket or reserved seat ticket is required separately (not applicable for Shinkansen).
