Senshukai’s mail-order business Belle Maison will release four comfortable summer items on March 25, including sandals made in collaboration with the shoe brand “Ashinaga Ojisan” and “Moomin,” which marks the 80th anniversary of the publication of the novel. All items are exclusive to Belle Maison Net.
Ashinaga Uncle x Moomin “Genuine Leather Strap Sandals with Sneaker Sole” (16,900 yen) are constructed with a high rebounding cushion to fit the foot securely. The sneaker outsole reduces fatigue even after long wear. The Moomin motif subtly incorporated into the insoles and straps is also a key point.
There are two types: brown combination (Snufkin) and ivory combination (Moomin), each available in four sizes (S/M/L/L/LL).
New to the innerwear lineup for adult women are the “Sarari Light Half Top” (2,990 yen) and “Sarari Light Panties” (1,490 yen), both with Moomin designs. The highly breathable material makes it easy to stay dry during the sweaty summer months. Each is available in five sizes (S/M/L/LL/3L) and three colors (green, blue-gray, and pink-beige).
The lineup also includes “double gauze pajamas” (4,990 yen), a top and bottom set of a short-sleeved shirt and pants. There are two types: a fresh blue one with Moomin and Umbrella design, and a gentle yellow one with Sunflower and Little Mii design, both available in five sizes (S/M/L/LL/3L).
The Moomin Valley Park (327-6 Miyazawa, Hanno City, Saitama Prefecture), a theme park where visitors can experience the world of the Moomin stories, is currently holding the “Moomin x Belle Maison Pop-up Store” from March 15. Some of Belle Maison’s original items, which are usually available only through mail order, are available for purchase directly from the store.
