In the LCC domain, the company aims to achieve 30 billion yen (16% year-on-year growth) by expanding the scale of international flights, and 70 billion yen (3% year-on-year growth) in the mileage, lifestyle, and infrastructure domain by expanding its customer base through the expansion of partners and other measures.

On the same day, the company also announced the introduction of 17 additional Boeing 737-8 aircraft for domestic routes, bringing the total to 38, including the 21 aircraft on firm order in March 2023. The 737-8s will be introduced as a replacement for the existing 737-800 fleet, and together with 11 Airbus A321neo aircraft, which will be introduced in fiscal 2028 as a replacement for the 767 fleet, the airline will continue to renew its domestic route fleet.
ZIPAIR Tokyo, the group’s medium- to long-haul LCC, will introduce about 10 Boeing 787-9 aircraft from FY2027 onward by transferring aircraft from JAL, and will add full-flat seats. ZIPAIR is planning to double its fleet of 787-8 aircraft to a total of approximately 20 aircraft by 2026.
