The “Disney Store Minamore Hiroshima” will open at the new Hiroshima Station Building “Minamore” on March 24. Prior to the opening, a look inside the store was shown to the public.
Based on the concept of “Disney’s enchanted dream world,” the store design is the first of its kind in Japan. In addition to enjoying shopping in a world of mystical fantasy and imagination, guests will be greeted at the entrance by a sorcerer Mickey statue.
The store carries approximately 2,000 items, ranging from lifestyle goods to items made in collaboration with popular brands.
The highlights are a plushie of “Urupo-chan” (1,500 yen each) holding Hiroshima’s famous Hiroshima sweets, Momiji-manju, and a plushie of “Urupo-chan” in her original red uniform (3,800 yen each) that will surely win the hearts of baseball lovers in Hiroshima. Each person may purchase one of each.
Other items on sale include a limited design “eco-bag” (1,100 yen) and “cookie tin” (1,600 yen). Each person may purchase up to three of each item. The number of each item may be subject to change depending on the situation on the day of the event.
