G-SHOCK, with its innovative design expressing “power and strength,” is equipped with a new mechanism that fixes the hands in place with magnetic force.

Casio Computer Co., Ltd. will release the GA-V01 from the G-SHOCK wristwatch series on April 11.

The organic design incorporating protrusions expresses strength. The exterior parts of the bezel and band are integrated, and the three-dimensional indexes placed on the upper surface of the glass are also designed to enhance shock resistance.

Digital and analog type, with small hands placed on the LCD in the dial section. The hour and minute hands are designed to incorporate a circular shape, and the minute hand has a “magnetic holding structure” that is held in place by magnetic force, allowing it to pass shocks.

Four colors are available: silver (GA-V01A-8), black (GA-V01-1), blue purple (GA-V01-2), and neon yellow (GA-V01-9). The price is 23,100 yen for silver only, and 21,450 yen for all others.
