JR West will release “WESTER Point Super Privilege Ticket” on April 2, which offers approximately 75% discount on Shinkansen trains. The period of use is from April 11 to June 30.
A ticket that combines a train ticket and a fare ticket, which can be used for a number of WESTER points equivalent to approximately 25% of the regular fare.
When the product was sold in winter 2024, it was offered at approximately 65% off (approximately 35% worth of points), but it will be reintroduced at a more reasonable number of points this time around.
In addition to the Sanyo Shinkansen (Shin-Osaka to Hakata), the Hokuriku Shinkansen (Itoigawa to Tsuruga) has also been added. The service is available only through JR West’s online reservation service “e5489” and the number of seats is limited.
