Akafuku will open its only coffee shop in the Kansai region, Akafuku Isuzu Chaya, on April 8. It will be located in the West Zone on the basement floor of the Takashimaya Osaka store (5-1-5 Namba, Chuo-ku, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture) and open from 10:00 to 20:00.
The store has an eat-in space with 79 seats, a sales space, a large screen showing the charms of the Ise Shrine gate town, and a booth introducing “Okage Yokocho” run by the Akafuku Group, which boasts approximately 5 million annual visitors.
In addition to Ise’s specialty “Akafuku Mochi” and the seasonal “Akafuku Zenzai” with freshly baked mochi, products include “Kohaku Mochi”, a commemorative product of the opening, “Azuki Cornet with Wasanbon Cream” from Isuzu Chaya, a popular item at department store events nationwide, and “Fruit Daifuku”. The azuki cornet will be sold at the permanent store for the first time.
The drink lineup includes the “Furappucha Matcha/Azuki,” a frappe topped with whipped cream and an Okagedenu sable, matcha latte, hojicha latte, azuki tea, coffee, and Akafuku matcha.
