Jumbo Ferry has added a private loft room plan to its “Funenomari” program, which allows passengers to use the ferry “Aoi” like a hotel, and will begin offering the service on April 9.
Funenomari” is an overnight stay plan on a ferry that departs from Kobe Port at 19:00, arrives at Takamatsu Port at midnight, turns around without disembarking, and returns to Kobe Port in the early morning of the following day. Since the ferry returns to the port from which it departed, passengers can use the nighttime onboard as a hotel or Internet cafe.
The new loft private room (from 4,990 yen per night) is available for an additional 1 person for an additional fee of 1,990 yen per night.
There are 15 rooms with a maximum capacity of 1-3 persons per room and 2.8 m2 in floor space. 500 yen per person will be charged if the check-in date falls on a Saturday or holiday timetable day.
