Tokyo Disneyland has announced that droids from the “Star Wars” series will be the newest additions to the meet and greet program in Tomorrowland. Today, the first day of the event, we met the BDX droids owned by Star Tours, Inc.
Along with the addition of new characters and planet scenes, including Ahsoka and Cassian, to the popular attraction “Star Tours: The Adventures Continue,” there is also great news at the meet and greet.
The BDX droid owned by Star Tours, which has been making a splash in overseas parks, made its first appearance at Tokyo Disneyland!
Ollie (orange) is very laid-back, Glynn (green) is curious but a little shy, and Bebo (blue) is good at making friends. They are droids that scan for unknown life forms and map the terrain. They are very adorable as they trot along at a speed of 0.6 meters per second.
At the meet and greet, all three droids will greet you together. When you call each droid’s name, they will approach you and enjoy talking with you. Please note that you cannot touch them as they are owned by Star Tours, Inc.
You will not be able to help but notice that the droids are just like in Star Wars, aggressively approaching you, tilting their heads, and making noises.
They appeared in a total of three cars. They fascinate guests on the street with their unique gestures. You can see the evolution of the droids as they shake their heads and walk steadily on their bipeds. When they start scanning, please give them the area!
