Tokyo Disneyland will launch a special version of the popular “Star Tours: The Adventures Continue” attraction in Tomorrowland with new characters and planet scenes. The press release was released ahead of the start of the event tomorrow.
The new additions include characters and planetary scenes from the Disney Plus drama series Star Wars: Ahsoka, Star Wars: Cassian Andor, and Mandalorian.
Newly introduced are Ahsoka Tano, Anakin Skywalker’s only apprentice in his life, Cassian Andor, a rebel hero, and Mandalorian, a lone bounty hunter who travels with Glogoo.
In the special version, a communication is received en route from any of the three above. They fly over the planet Seatos, which has never been visited before, in between the giant space whale, Pargill. The team aims for their intergalactic destination.
Whenever you experience the attraction from April 8 to June 30, you will experience one of the new characters and planet scenes. After the period, the scenes will be randomized and will join the existing scenes.
We actually went on a space trip and were able to see Mandalorians & Glogoo, as well as Ahsoka Tano. The experience of traveling through the giant space whale, Purgil, was more thrilling than I had imagined! I felt that it took a lot of determination to travel through space, wondering when Pargil would come crashing down on us, but I was able to return safely thanks to C-3PO’s excellent maneuvering and R2-D2’s nice assist.
