If you are tired of walking at the Expo, you can use the free electric cart “Personal Mobility” for easy and smooth ride! No reservation required

On April 13, the Osaka-Kansai Expo (EXPO 2025) will open in Yumeshima, Osaka. Here we report on scenes from the media day held prior to the opening of the Expo.

The Expo site is vast. Walking around the pavilions is fun, but you can also use a one-person electric cart (personal mobility vehicle).

There are loaner stations (150 vehicles in total) near the East and West gates, and parking lots scattered throughout the venue in various zones, which can be rented free of charge. General visitors can rent vehicles for up to 4 hours, and the elderly and others who have difficulty walking long distances can use them until 9:00 p.m., when the venue closes (the last rental is at 8:00 p.m., and vehicles can be returned at any time).

The official name of this electric cart is “e-SNEAKER” developed by Daihatsu Motor Co. It is a small 4-wheeled vehicle designed to provide personal mobility that anyone can enjoy and comfortably move around, and is equipped with an obstacle detection function and a contact stop function.

This is one of the “Future Society Showcase Project Exhibits” at the Expo, and visitors can simulate life in a “mixed pedestrian and personal mobility transportation system,” which may become a common sight in the near future, as they stroll through the Expo site. This is one of the “Social Showcase Exhibits of the Future”.
