The interior design is inspired by station signs and markings, and the exit walls feature artwork using head marks, hanging straps, seats, uniforms, and tickets that were used at stations and on trains. If you look closely at the art at the back of the cash register, you can see that it has the same shape as the map of the JR line.
The cash registers are divided into two sections: the Osaka Loop Line (11 to 20 marked with a triangle underfoot) and the JR Kyoto Line (1 to 10 marked with a triangle underfoot), and the information to the cash registers is as if you were waiting for a train on a station platform: “Please come to No. 1 marked with a triangle underfoot.
The restaurant’s background music also features familiar melodies actually played in the station, and one can sense JR West’s attention to detail here and there.
In addition, a hemispherical symbolic display on the ceiling, approximately 3 meters in diameter, showed animations of Iko-chan and other characters, as well as scenes from various parts of western Japan.
