Citizen Watch Co., Ltd. has released new watches from its Citizen Collection featuring two droids from the “Star Wars” movie, R2-D2 and C-3PO.

The product will go on sale on May 4, “Star Wars Day,” and advance reservations will be accepted at Star Wars Celebration Japan 2025, which will be held from April 18 to 20.

The R2-D2 model “NP1017-61A” is priced at 63,800 yen, and the C-3PO model “NP1013-53P” at 69,300 yen. Each is limited to 450 pieces each.

The “NP1017-61A” is a droid with fine details reminiscent of R2-D2. The droid itself has a mechanical appearance based on silver and blue, the colors of the droid. The dial features an etched flap pattern on the body, a crown with lamp-colored accents, and a blue line on the back cover.

The NP1013-53P, on the other hand, features a C-3PO design with a gorgeous gold tone. The dial is decorated with the characteristic circular circles of his abdomen. The in-dial is designed to resemble C-3PO’s eyes.

Both models have case sizes of 38.9 x 11.2 mm (diameter x thickness). The movement is Cal. 4197, which can be enjoyed through the see-through back. The movement is self-winding and hand-winding. The watch has a maximum winding time of approximately 42 hours. The case and band are stainless steel. Both models come with a special box with artwork of each character on the inside cover.
