ANA has integrated its passenger service systems for domestic and international flights, renewing fares for domestic flights for boarding on May 19, and standardizing reservation and boarding rules with those for international flights.
The new domestic fares offer three categories: “Simple,” “Standard,” and “Flex. The “Standard” fares are centered on “Standard” fares that support reservation changes, advance seat selection, and upgrades, while “Simple” fares with minimal ancillary services and low fares, and “Flex” fares that can be purchased even on the day of boarding and do not require a fee to change reservations. The “Simple” and “Standard” models can be purchased up to the day before boarding.
In addition, the airline has introduced round-trip fares, expanded transit times to 24 hours or less at transit destinations, and added mileage support for upgrades to premium class.
The main changes to the rules common to international flights include: the age limit for infants has been changed from two years old and under to one year old and under; non-ANA Mileage Club members can now wait for seats online; free baggage check-in is based on the number of pieces; and the validity period of boarding privileges for shareholders and others has been extended to one and a half years.
