The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) signed the Record of Discussions (R/D) with the Government of Siem Reap Province, Kingdom of Cambodia, on May 19 at JICA Headquarters in Kojimachi, Tokyo, on the technical cooperation project “Implementation of Smart City Approach for Urban Problem Solving in Siem Reap, Phase 2”. of Discussions (R/D) on the technical cooperation project “Smart City Approach Implementation Project Phase 2 for Urban Problem Solving in Siem Reap”.

Business Objectives

This project aims to strengthen the implementation system for the sustainable functioning of the Smart City Approach and to improve the capacity of administrative officials to implement measures and to disseminate good practices of the Siem Reap Province government to the outside world. The project aims to strengthen the implementation system for the sustainable functioning of the smart city approach and improve the administrative officers’ capacity to implement measures by improving their ability to disseminate good practices to the public, thereby contributing to Siem Reap Province functioning as a model city for smart cities in Cambodia.
