Toray Eizo has produced a new poster for the Kyoto Municipal Transportation Bureau’s “Ride the Subway” campaign. The finished product is displayed in Kyoto City Subway stations and other locations.
The “Ride the Subway” project aims to promote the use of the Kyoto City Subway and city buses, with the supporting character “Uzumamoe” and others promoting the Kyoto City Subway. Toray Eizo was involved in the planning and operation of the content, including the production of animated commercials, and voluntarily produced posters in FY2023 and FY2024.
The theme of this year’s project, planned and promoted in cooperation with the Kyoto City Transportation Bureau, is “Riding the Subway & Bus to Yamashina and Daigo”. It depicts Moe Uzumasa’s sister “Uzumasa Rei” visiting the famous Bishamondou Monzeki temple in Yamashina Ward.
In addition, a campaign to give away B1-size posters of the film will be held at Yamashina Station in Kyoto. The first 200 people to purchase a “Ride the Subway: Animation Exhibition Clear File” will be given one on a first-come, first-served basis. The period is from May 23 to June 30, limited to one per person.
