The “Osaka-Kansai Expo” (EXPO 2025) is being held in Yumeshima, Osaka, until October 13. We have recently participated in a tour of the British Pavilion for the media and would like to introduce some of the exhibits and stores in the pavilion.

United Kingdom Pavilion (April 13-October 13, 2025)

Hours of operation: 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Time required: approx. 20 min.

Location: Saving Zone, Overseas Pavilion S22-01

Admission: Advance reservations, first-come-first-served basis

List of stores:

[2nd Floor] Johnnie Walker Bar

[1F] Gift store, restaurant (no reservation required, 92 seats) *Take-out available

The theme of the UK pavilion is “Let’s build the future together. The building design was inspired by toy building blocks.

The exhibit area (Visitor Experience) was divided into three main rooms. In each of them, PIX, the mascot character, guides visitors through the culture and technology of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, from the invention of the steam locomotive to the world’s first carbon-neutral spaceport, in a variety of guises.

The second room is equipped with buttons that allow participants to challenge each other to a mini-game in which they compete with each other in the number of items they find. What to look for is left to be determined after participating in the game.

After enjoying the exhibition, visitors can take a break at the Johnnie Walker Bar on the second floor.

The gift store on the first floor sells plush toys of popular British characters “Peter Rabbit”, “Paddington”, Shaun the Sheep “Gromit”, PIX pin badges, LIBERTY eco-bags, and more.
