Walt Disney Japan will release a new plush toy series “Urupo-chan” on May 30. Pre-sales will begin on May 27 at Disney Flagship Tokyo, Tokyo Disney Resort stores, and the official Disney online store. The price is 1,800 yen each.
The rainy season will soon be upon us, and the new Disney characters in rain ponchos will be available to make rainy days more fun. There are seven types in all: Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Marie, Winnie the Pooh, and Stitch and Scrump, whose live-action movie will be released in June.
Each character wears a rain poncho in a different two-tone color with white button accents. The hood is removable, and when the hem of the poncho is turned up, the cute personal belongings of each character, such as a teru teru bozu, a duck, and a frog, can also be seen.
