Fujiyoshida City and Ameer Sports Japan, which operates the Salomon sports brand, signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement and renovated Nakano Chaya, a mountain lodge on the Yoshida-guchi trail.
Nakano-chaya (5601-1 Kamiyoshida, Fujiyoshida City, Yamanashi Prefecture) is located between the Kitaguchi Hongu Sengen Shrine at the foot of the mountain and Umaboshi, where you can enjoy the famous Yoshida udon noodles and view the native Fuji cherry trees in the surrounding area in spring.
The renovations include remodeling of the interior to add showers, a permanent Salomon booth with free rental shoes, a Salomon membership program, special pricing on food menu items, and limited novelty giveaways.
In addition, the partnership agreement also includes reproduction of old roads, cooperation with the Fujiyoshida Rescue Center at the 8th station of Mt. Fuji, trail maintenance, and environmental preservation and improvement activities.
