JR West Japan Via Inn will offer “Series 273 Yakumo Rooms” at the Via Inn Okayama hotel (1-25 Ekimoto-cho, Kita-ku, Okayama City, Okayama Prefecture) from June 5. Reservations will be accepted from June 2 only through the official website.
The cabin is based on the Series 273 train used for the “Yakumo” limited express, and even the indicator, semi-compartment, and door sections inside the car are reproduced. Cushions and mugs also have the Yakumo logo. Train views of the Okayama Station area are also available from the windows.
Rates start at 7,350 yen per person. As a bonus, commemorative goods will be given exclusively to guests.
