The Adachi City Tourism Exchange Association and Adachi Ward will enforce traffic regulations in conjunction with the “47th Adachi Fireworks Festival” on May 31.

On the day of the fireworks, from 4:00 p.m. onward, both banks of the Arakawa River, where the fireworks will be launched, will be closed to vehicular traffic, with restrictions extending from near the Ohgi Bridge to the Arakawa Bridge on the Tobu Isezaki Line at the maximum. The Senju-Shinbashi entrance on the Metropolitan Expressway Central Loop Line will also be closed from 17:00. Both closures are scheduled to be lifted around 10:30 p.m., but may be delayed.

Visitors are encouraged to come to the venue by public transportation or on foot. However, please note that the Toei Bus, Tobu Bus, and community bus “Harukaze” that will be operating in the closed areas will be subject to changes to their sections or cancellations.
