H.I.S. Hotel Holdings rebranded Watermark Hotel Okinawa Kume Island (411 Magari, Kumejima-cho, Shimajiri-gun, Okinawa Prefecture) and Watermark Hotel Okinawa Miyakojima (1725 Sawada Maehara, Irabu, Miyakojima City, Okinawa Prefecture), opening on June 1.
The new brand is a resort hotel based on the concept of “a stay that resonates with the five senses like water, the source of life,” and will be renamed from “Resort Hotel Kume Island” and “Watermark Hotel & Resorts Okinawa Miyakojima,” respectively.
Watermark Hotel Okinawa Kume Island has completely renovated its interior and newly built the KUME Suite, the largest room on the island. A relaxation salon, “Sea Room,” was also added. There are 142 guest rooms in total. At the Watermark Hotel Okinawa Miyakojima, the infinity pool is now heated, and the gym, souvenir store, and theater room are newly available. There are 50 guest rooms in total, including suites with private gardens and ocean view rooms. The attached food and beverage outlets will also be unified as “Restaurant Hokulani,” offering Okinawan specialties and special menus.
To celebrate the rebranding, H.I.S. Hotel Holdings is offering a sale at 23 hotels in Japan until June 8. The sale is limited to reservations made through the official website, and offers a 15% discount for stays between June and August, with some exceptions (discounts can be applied in addition to those for web members).
Watermark Hotel Okinawa Kume Island” is offering special plans starting at 34,000 yen per night for two nights including a 90-minute body spa treatment and breakfast, and “Watermark Hotel Okinawa Miyakojima” is offering a special plan starting at 28,600 yen per night including a lobster BBQ dinner and breakfast.
