Unlimited Ride on Regular JR Trains for 7 Days “Hokkaido & Higashi-Nihon Pass” goes on sale in summer. The price is 11,530 yen.

JR Hokkaido and JR East will offer the “Hokkaido & East Japan Pass” for the summer season. The sales period is from June 20 to September 24, and the usage period is from July 1 to September 30.

This ticket allows unlimited rides for seven consecutive days on non-reserved ordinary car seats of ordinary trains (including rapid trains) on JR Hokkaido, JR East, Aoimori Railway, IGR Iwate Ginga Railway, and Hokuetsu Kyuko Railway lines and BRT. (Only between Shin-Aomori Station and Aomori Station on the Ou Main Line, the ticket allows unlimited use of reserved seats in ordinary cars of trains that have all reserved seats.)

Limited express trains including the Shinkansen are not available, and a fare as well as a fare is required when using the service. However, if you wish to use a train that extends beyond the section, you must have a ticket or express ticket for the entire section you have boarded.

Hokkaido Shinkansen: Available only between Shin-Aomori Station and Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto Station, with the purchase of a specific limited express ticket.

On the Ishikacho Line: Available only between Shin-Aomori Station and Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto Station with the purchase of a specific limited express ticket.

Muroran Main Line: Only between Higashi-Muroran Station and Muroran Station, this ticket alone is valid for unassigned reserved seats.

Ou Main Line: Unreserved seats are available only with this ticket between Shin-Aomori Station and Aomori Station.

Handled at major JR Hokkaido and JR East stations, reserved-seat ticket machines, and major travel agencies. The price is 11,530 yen (5,760 yen for children), a 200 yen increase from the spring session in light of JR Hokkaido’s fare revision.
