Universal Studios Japan will open the park’s first ever attraction, “SPY x FAMILY XR Ride – Operation Hyperdrive” from July 1 to January 4, 2026. This is part of the “Universal Cool Japan” event, which celebrated its 10th anniversary this year. In addition to the XR Ride, which takes you on a ride through the spy world with the Forger family, there will also be the “Story Ride: Excitement! The “Story Ride: Extracurricular Trolley Experience,” in which you can enter the story and have a blast with everyone at Eden School, and the “＼Me too, challenge Chichi haha! USJ Park Rally” will also be held at the same time.
Prior to the opening of the event, new limited edition food and goods featuring the “SPY x FAMILY” motif were unveiled. At the Parkside Grill, the park’s main dining room, “SPY×FAMILY Parkside Grill Special Set – Lloyd’s Hamburgers” is available with peanut pie, Anya’s favorite food. The menu is said to offer the Forger family’s signature flavor along with rose-flowered appetizers.
The lineup also includes “Anya’s Exciting Peach Frozen Soda” featuring sparkling fruit and jelly to represent Anya’s “Exciting! Anya’s Exciting Peach Frozen Soda, which expresses Anya’s “Exciting!” moment with sparkling fruit and jelly, and Bond’s Fluffy Tea Latte, which is inspired by Anya’s partner, Bond. Both will be sold with a coaster set featuring the Forger family in the park’s original design.
Churritos, a food for eating and drinking, is now available in strawberry and raspberry flavors. The wrapping bag is a “Stella” version that expresses Anya’s “Eh-ha! The “Stella” version expresses Anya’s “eh-ha!” mood, while the “Tonito” version expresses her “gah! and a “Tonito” version that expresses Anya’s “Gah!
The original goods include a “catsuit” with a fluffy texture like Bond’s fur and a cute pose of Anya, a “hoodie” with a design of the Forger family all together, a “plush keychain” with a cute Anya in the uniform of the prestigious Eden School, and a “shoulder mascot keychain set” with Anya & Bond. The “shoulder mascot keychain set” is also available.
Both limited edition food and merchandise will go on sale on June 30.
