Nishitetsu Railway will operate “THE RAIL KITCHEN CHIKUGO,” a sightseeing train featuring dishes made with ingredients from the railway line, on August 5. The fare is 18,000 yen for adults and 6,000 yen for children, and reservations will be accepted on the Nishitetsu Travel website from 11:00 a.m. on June 30.

The course starts from Nishitetsu Fukuoka (Tenjin) Station to Hanabatake Station and back, departing at 18:47 and stopping at the Chikugo River Bridge, located about 2 km from the launch site, for about 7 minutes starting at around 20:13. After viewing the fireworks, the bus will return to Fukuoka at 21:14.

The projector inside the train will project live images onto the train while traveling along the sections where the fireworks cannot be seen, and if the fireworks are cancelled, the previous year’s images will be available for viewing.

For meals, a “summer menu” including chicken in olive oil will be offered, and two drinks will be served (the third and subsequent drinks will be charged separately). For children, a “children’s menu” that includes a hamburger steak, omelette rice, juice, etc. is offered.
