On June 30, Greens reopened the Comfort Hotel Toyokawa (3-301 Suwa, Toyokawa, Aichi Prefecture) in Toyokawa, Aichi Prefecture. Comfort Hotel Toyokawa is located approximately 5 minutes on foot from Suwa-machi Station on the Meitetsu Line and approximately 10 minutes by car from the Toyokawa Interchange on the Tomei Expressway.
The guest rooms are decorated with art panels featuring motifs such as the Tezutsu Fireworks launched during Toyokawa City’s summer festivals and Toyokawa Inari Shrine. The corridors are decorated with flooring inspired by the approach to Toyokawa Inari, and motifs unique to Toyokawa City can be seen in the guest rooms and common areas, allowing guests to feel the local culture while staying at the hotel.
In the guest room renewal, the “Single High Class” in three rooms on each floor has been changed to “Double Economy” and the bed width has been increased from 120 cm to 140 cm. In addition, USB charging ports (Type-A) have been newly installed on the headboards of all guest rooms for improved convenience. In the bathrooms, thermostatic faucets and Comfort Wave showers have been installed.
The carpet tiles used for the flooring in the “Queen Standard” guest rooms are made of “Econyl,” a 100% recycled yarn made from discarded fishing nets and carpet waste, and are designed to be sustainable with an eye to reducing CO2 emissions.
At the Comfort Library Cafe, a shared space exclusively for guests, guests can enjoy free drinks, mainly coffee and tea, and more than 100 books and photo collections. The newly renovated space is equipped with additional power outlets, free Wi-Fi, and group sofa seating.
