Meat and Livestock Australia is holding a free tasting event for the general public at the Australia Pavilion at Expo ’70 Kansai in Osaka, Japan, through September. Visitors can experience the appeal of sustainable Aussie beef and Aussie lamb with cooking demonstrations by official ambassadors.
The tasting menu changes monthly and features creative Osaka-style dishes using Australian red meat. The dates and tasting menus for each month are as follows. Two tastings will be held each day (from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.).
The year 2025 will also mark the 55th anniversary of the first importation of chilled Australian beef to Japan, and the event aims to further promote exchange.
