Karuizawa Prince Shopping Plaza (Karuizawa-machi, Kitasaku-gun, Nagano Prefecture), operated by Seibu Real Estate Property Management, will hold the largest “Karuizawa Platinum Bargain” of the year from October 31 to November 10.
Over 160 stores, including Maruni, which newly opened in April, and Tory Burch, which relocated and expanded to become one of the largest outlet stores in Japan, will participate in the event, selling brand-name items, winter fashion trends, household goods, gourmet foods, and more at up to 70% off.
On the first day of bargaining, the “Prince Express,” a one-day-only train exclusively for Shinkansen tour passengers, will be in operation. This year, the train will be powered up to the “Karuizawa Prince Shopping Plaza 30th Anniversary Commemorative Edition,” and a special ticket that includes a round-trip ticket from each departure station to Karuizawa Station plus a 2,000 yen product exchange coupon that can be used at each store will be sold at various travel agencies (sales period: September 19, 5 pm – October 15).
In addition, those who use the “Prince Express” service and spend 5,000 yen or more (tax included, can be combined) on the same day will receive a 3,000-minute merchandise voucher, an original water commemorating the 30th anniversary of the opening, and a free drink ticket.
