JR Hokkaido will hold the “Good Luck SALE in Kita (North) in November! Lucky SALE in North Hokkaido” will be held from November 1.
This is a sale offering low prices on limited express tickets and other items for limited express trains on conventional lines, available only through Ekinet reservations. The sale applies to “Kamui”, “Lilac”, “Soya”, and “Okhotsk” trains departing from and arriving at Sapporo for Asahikawa, and “Sarobetsu” trains between Asahikawa and Wakkanai stations, but the number of available seats and train sections are limited.
Tokudachi,” which includes a train ticket and a limited express ticket, offers a discount of 50% to 60%. For example, Sapporo – Asahikawa is available for 2,170 yen, and Sapporo (city) – Wakkanai for 5,700 yen. The “Tokuda Value 14” is available until November 30 and must be purchased one month to 14 days prior to the boarding date.
The “conventional ticketless limited express ticket (Tokuwari),” which can be purchased on the day of boarding, also offers a higher discount than usual, and is available until December 21. The ticket is only available between Sapporo and Asahikawa, and there is no ticket available to/from Nayoro or Kitami.
