JTB is accepting applications on its official website for the nationwide travel support program that will start on January 10, starting with regions that are ready. All plans are for domestic lodging (ryokan, hotels, and inns) and domestic tours (tours using JR and airplanes).

The nationwide travel support program at the beginning of the year will subsidize a flat 20% of the travel price (up to 5,000 yen per night for travel products with transportation/up to 3,000 yen per night for other products) and provide electronic coupons (2,000 yen per night for weekdays/1,000 yen per night for holidays) that can be used to purchase souvenirs, etc.
In addition, the JTB official website is currently running a “FUKUSHUNO-MIKUJI” lottery, which offers 20,230 points if you get a big lucky number, and a “1 in 50 Half-Price Point Back Campaign” until 23:59 on January 13, 2012. In addition, discount coupons limited to ANA/JAL flights that can be used in conjunction with nationwide travel support are also being distributed.
