Sumitomo Mitsui Card has added 16 new brands to its “Up to 5% discount at participating convenience stores and restaurants! service, which has been offered since February 2021, to 16 new brands of restaurants of the SUKAIRAKU Group, including Gusto and Bamiyan.
When using a Sumitomo Mitsui Card at a participating convenience store or restaurant and paying with a contactless payment method (Visa touch payment or Mastercard contactless), the cardholder will receive 4.5% points for every 200 yen spent (up to 5% total) in addition to the usual 0.5% points. If the payment is not contactless, the company will give back +2% for every 200 yen spent.
The newly added restaurants of the SUKARAKU Group are also eligible for the “Family Point” service, which offers a +1% point rebate (up to +5% point rebate) for each registered family member. For more details, please refer to the official website.
