Panasonic has released the results of a survey on pollen and air as well as pollen countermeasures that can be taken now in preparation for spring, when pollen is a concern.
A survey of 550 pollen-afflicted men and women in their 20s to 60s regarding pollen countermeasures revealed that many people do not have a correct understanding of the routes by which pollen enters their homes. According to Panasonic Air Meister Kazuko Fukuda, “In fact, pollen does not generally enter through air conditioners, and the most common route of pollen entry is through the front door. Pollen adheres to clothing and hair outside and is brought directly into the house,” she says.
