Yamasta, a mountain stamp rally application provided by Yama-kei Publishers, in cooperation with Nankai Electric Railway, is conducting the “Mount Kongo/Iwayusen Trivia Stamp Rally”. The period is from February 4 to October 31.
Mt. Kongo offers visitors the opportunity to experience the changing seasons with cherry blossoms, autumn leaves, and ice on the trees. The mountain has the stage of the battle that led to the fall of the Kamakura shogunate, a stone monument, a summit with a live camera, and an observation deck. The attraction of Mt. Iwayuku is the sooty field that spreads across the summit of the mountain, from which the Seto Inland Sea and the Suzuka mountain range can be seen. At the foot of the mountain are Iwayukujiya Hachiman Shrine, with its symbolic pagoda, and Amami Onsen Hot Springs.
In this stamp rally, visitors can earn stamps featuring history and trivia related to each location by visiting and checking in at five locations on Mount Kongo and five locations on Mount Iwayuku. Upon completion of the rally, visitors will be entered into a drawing to win special pins made in collaboration with the Yamasanka brand of mountain souvenirs, and will also receive a commemorative can badge and certificate of achievement on a first-come, first-served basis.
