Walt Disney Japan and Dlala Studios will release “Disney’s Illusion Island,” an action game exclusively for Nintendo Switch that can be played by up to four players, on July 28.
The price is 5478 yen for the packaged version and 5400 yen for the downloadable version. The Nintendo eShop and My Nintendo Store will allow users to register their “Wishlist” from February 9.
Players will join Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy on an adventure around the colorful and mysterious island of Monos to save the world by recovering the “Three Magic Tomes,” powerful books that protect the island. The world is depicted in hand-drawn animation, with character voices by the same voice actors as in the original story and orchestral music from the original story as a background.
In the game, players unlock special abilities while solving fun puzzles and challenging epic boss battles; they can focus on the adventure alone or work with up to three friends to take advantage of special team skills such as rope drops, leap frogs, and heart-giving hugs.
