The commercial depicts a businessman, played by Kento Kaku, on a business trip, and the theme song “Aini Ikou” (composed by Taisei Iwasaki, sung by UA) is used to color various scenes in the station and in the train.
In conjunction with the release of this new commercial, TOKIO’s song “AMBITIOUS JAPAN!” (lyrics by Rei Nakanishi, music by Kyouhei Tsutsumi), which is currently used as the departure and arrival chime in Tokaido Shinkansen trains, will end around summer and be replaced by “Meet Me, Go!
AMBITIOUS JAPAN!” is TOKIO’s 28th single, released in October 2003, and was created as a tie-up song with JR Tokai (it also reached No. 1 on the Oricon Charts). It became one of TOKIO’s representative songs that left a lasting impression on many people.
From March 1, JR Tokai’s official Tiwtter (@JRCentral_OFL) will be running a retweet campaign to win gift cards for stays at JR Tokai Hotels and travel companion coupons for use at in-train sales. Details will be announced later on the official account.
