The “HOTEL R9 The Yard” series is a series of hotels that serve as disaster prevention facilities in case of emergency. The Kanoya branch, the third to open in Kagoshima Prefecture following Isa and Izumi, is located along Route 269 in the city center, and is built so that guest rooms can be promptly relocated to the disaster area in the event of an emergency. It will function as a “rescue hotel” for evacuation centers in the Osumi Peninsula and Kagoshima Prefecture.
A total of 32 independent guest rooms are available using construction container modules. No walls are placed between adjacent rooms to maintain quietness and privacy. The 13m2 rooms, which can accommodate up to two people, are equipped with a quality bed, unit bath, refrigerator/freezer, microwave oven, and humidifying air purifier, providing a simple yet comfortable stay.
Rates for double rooms start from 5600 yen per person per night / 8000 yen per person per night for 2 people. Twin rooms from 5600 yen per person per night / from 9000 yen per person per night for 2 persons
