JR West will renovate the “Zuikaze Lounge” located on the 15th floor of Hotel Granvia Kyoto and resume service on August 2.
Like TWILIGHT EXPRESS Zuikaze, the Zuikaze lounge will feature an Art Deco style interior design. The area will be expanded by approximately 20 m2, and some of the sofas and walls will be refurbished to provide space for wheelchair users.
In conjunction with this, all departure and arrival stations for TWILIGHT EXPRESS Zuikaze in the Kansai area will be Kyoto Station. In addition, passengers will also be able to stop by the lounge after arrival at Kyoto Station on the San-in Course (Up), Sanyo Course (Up), and Sanyo/San-in Course (Round Trip). In addition, the lounge will offer check-in, luggage storage, drinks and sweets unique to Kyoto, and a display of passenger-only goods.
