Washington Hotel renews R&B Hotel Ueno-Hirokoji. Wide desks and other facilities for work.

Posted on 2023-03-10 by Editor in Chief

Washington Hotel has reopened the R&B Hotel Ueno-Hirokoji (1-18-8 Ueno, Taito-ku, Tokyo).

The hotel has a total of 176 guest rooms, and is located about a 3-minute walk from Okachimachi Station on the JR Yamanote Line and about a 1-minute walk from Ueno-Hirokoji Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line. More than 20 years have passed since its opening, and the renewal includes a new interior design for the guest rooms and a layout suitable for work, such as a wide desk with a wide top panel.

In addition, twin rooms that can be used by multiple people, such as families, and connecting rooms, the first of its kind at R&B, have been newly established. The rooms are equipped with Airwave mattresses that support sound sleep by reducing the burden on the body. In addition, “Bolina” showerheads that generate ultra-fine bubbles have been installed in all rooms, and “Epsom bath salts,” which enhance relaxation, are available in the amenity corner in the lobby.

Breakfast will be served buffet style, featuring fresh bread baked by the hotel staff each morning, salads, watered coffee, and morning curry.
