JTB, Kumamoto International Airport, Dai Nippon Printing, and DNP Planning Network will open a “Kumamon” digital tourist information center utilizing touch-panel digital signage at Aso Kumamoto Airport, which will reopen on March 23.
The installation will be located in the 1st floor arrival lobby of the new passenger terminal building. Kumamoto Prefecture’s official tourism website “More, More! Kumamotte! and information on tourist information centers in Kumamoto Prefecture. The site will also feature Kumamon FANS, Kumamon Rent-a-Car, Kumamon TOUR, Kumamon NEWS, and other content to enjoy Kumamoto with Kumamon.
By linking maps and SNS, it displays “now”, “where”, and “what kind of attractions are there” in relation to each other. Information on approximately 220 facilities in Kumamoto Prefecture and Kumamoto City, as well as SNS links to 50 facilities, can be viewed.
In addition, information on multilingual call centers operated by the seven prefectures of Kyushu and Yamaguchi Prefecture for foreign visitors to Japan will also be available.
