Kokusai Kogyo, Sumitomo Mitsui Card, Visa Worldwide Japan, Reship, and QUADRAC will start a demonstration experiment using Visa touch payment on the Ikebukuro/Urawa to Haneda Airport route of the airport connecting bus on March 31.
By holding a Visa touch-sensitive card (credit, debit, or prepaid) or smartphone over the special device when boarding the train, passengers can pay for their fares without having to prepare cash or purchase tickets from a ticket vending machine in advance.
