JALUX released a limited quantity of pouches and L-shaped wallets made from reused leather from JAL’s Class J seats.
Class J seats actually used on domestic flights are reborn as pouches and wallets. The leather is carefully removed from the seat by hand, thoroughly cleaned, and handcrafted by artisans in Japan. The soft and supple genuine leather used for the Class J seat has a different appearance for each item, and the leather will change over time as it fits in the user’s hand with each use.
The price is 9,900 yen for the pouch and 13,200 yen for the L-shaped wallet.
