On April 13, Seibu Prince Hotels Worldwide announced the rebranding and opening of the Hyatt Regency Osaka, owned by Hoshino Resort REIT. The new name will be Grand Prince Hotel Osaka Bay (1-13-11 Nanko-Kita, Suminoe-ku, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture), scheduled to open in July.
With 480 guest rooms and ancillary facilities including four restaurants, a café, and large and small banquet halls, this full-service hotel can be used for business, sightseeing, and weddings. The hotel is adjacent to INTEX Osaka, which is used for exhibitions, and the ferry terminal is located right in front of the hotel.
The current Hyatt Regency Osaka will be joined by the Risonare Osaka on December 16, 2022, which will be operated as a collaboration hotel with two brands coexisting in one facility. After the rebranding, the two brands will coexist.
