Representatives from each of the nationwide facilities presented their new plans for this spring and summer, and information about the opening of OMO3 Asakusa, the third OMO brand in Tokyo, was unveiled for the first time. In addition, company representative Yoshihiro Hoshino shared his thoughts on future initiatives and industry trends in the after-corona.
Five facilities will open in Japan and abroad in 2023, with the new “OMO3 Asakusa” opening on July 31.
First of all, I would like to talk about new openings. Hoshino Resort has been operating 66 facilities in Japan and abroad by 2022 under the theme of “making travel enjoyable,” centering on five brands: Hoshinoya, Kai, Risonare, OMO, and BEB.
Specifically, “Resonare Guam,” the first overseas facility under the Resonare brand, will rebrand and open on April 1. Under the OMO brand of city hotels, “OMO Kansai Airport” and “OMO7 Kochi” will open on March 20 and April 6, respectively, and “OMO5 Kumamoto” is scheduled to open on April 25.
The newly announced “OMO3 Asakusa” today will be the third OMO brand in Tokyo, following OMO5 Tokyo Otsuka and OMO3 Tokyo Akasaka, and is scheduled to open on July 31.
OMO3 Asakusa is located in the town center, a 4-minute walk from Asakusa Station and a 1-minute walk from Sensoji Temple, with views of Sensoji Temple and Tokyo Sky Tree from everywhere in the building. The concept is “Chic, Asakusa-teki”.
In a place that is always bustling with activity, centering on Sensoji Temple, and overflowing with both old and new attractions, the company will propose an experience that allows visitors to enjoy Asakusa to the fullest in the same way as an Edo child from the old downtown area.
An overview of the five newly opened facilities is as follows.
OMO Kansai Airport by Hoshino Resort,” opening on March 20, is Hoshino Resort’s first airport hotel. Based on the concept of “Sorachika, Fun Time,” the hotel provides not only convenient functions for airport users, but also a rich environment that can be enjoyed both before and after the trip.
