On May 6, Globe-Trotter Asia Pacific launched the “Coronation Special” collection commemorating the coronation of King Charles III of England and began taking orders. The delivery time is approximately three months.
The color scheme is inspired by the Union Jack on the British flag, with ivory on the exterior of the case, navy on the corners of the case, and red on the leather strap that wraps around the case. The interior, on the other hand, is navy with red straps and ivory details.
The coronation emblem was designed by former Apple design director Jonathan Ive, and is also incorporated prominently in the center of the case of this collection.
The “Carry-On 2-Wheel” and “Carry-On 4-Wheel” are priced at 313,500 yen, and the “Large Check-In 2-Wheel” and “Large Check-In 4-Wheel” at 412,500 yen. The Carry-On case is on display at Globe-Trotter Ginza.
