Kussharo Prince Hotel (Kussharo Onsen, Teshikaga-cho, Kawakami-gun, Hokkaido) will offer glamping accommodation plans from June 1 to September 30, surrounded by the natural beauty of Lake Kussharo, the largest caldera lake in Japan.
Glamping by the lake is available for guests to further enjoy the spectacular view that only a hotel built in a national park can offer. In addition to being healed by the view from your room, you can dive into the caldera lake as a substitute for a water bath in the “lakeside tent sauna” available only to guests of this plan.
Room rates start at 17,500 yen per night for two people, including barbecue for dinner and lakeside breakfast the next morning.
From June 1 to October 31, the “Spectacular View of Lake Kussharo and Sea of Clouds Guided Tour” (3,500 yen per person) will be offered. The tour departs from the hotel at 5:30 a.m. for the Tsubetsu Pass Observation Facility, where visitors can enjoy the early morning sea of clouds created by the caldera topography and exquisite weather conditions in the eastern Hokkaido region.
The tour includes commentary by a professional guide and morning coffee. Reservations must be made by 7:00 p.m. the day before the tour to participate.
