On May 15, Enoshima Electric Railway will hold a one-day campaign in which fares will be practically free with touch payment.
The company decided to hold this project on May 15 because April 15 marks one month since the launch of the touch settlement service and also because the company’s character “Enon-kun” will celebrate his birthday on May 14.
By using a credit card (Visa, JCB, American Express, Diners Club, Discover) that is compatible with touch-sensitive payment and entering or exiting the station through the station’s dedicated ticket gate, the fare will be waived for the same day only. Due to the convenience of the system, the regular fare will be displayed when passing through the ticket gate, but no charge will be incurred. The fare is not applicable to the use of a traffic system IC card.
