Tokai Kisen will operate the “Tokyo Bay Noryo Boat” daily from July 7 to September 18.
The “Tokyo Bay Noryo-bune” is a leisure and entertainment cruise on the 6,000-ton class large passenger ship “Sarubia Maru” that cruises around Tokyo Bay, where visitors can enjoy night view commentary by navigators, food menus using ingredients from the Tokyo Islands, musical events, and other entertainment. The ship is also known as a yukata (summer kimono) spot, with 40% of the passengers wearing yukata in the summer of 2022.
The boat departs from Takeshiba Passenger Boat Terminal at 19:15, cruises around Tokyo Bay, and returns to Takeshiba Passenger Boat Terminal at 21:00. The fare is 1,500 yen for adults and 500 yen for elementary school students, with a 500 yen discount to 1,000 yen for adults boarding in yukata (yukata discount is not offered on Fridays, Saturdays, and holidays). A special opening discount will be offered from July 7 to 14, 2012, with web reservations only, and the boarding fee will be 1,000 yen for adults and 500 yen for adults in yukata.
Also available is the reserved seating plan, which includes a boarding ticket, all-you-can-drink, food, and seating. There are three types of plans to choose from: restaurant, Western-style room, and Japanese-style room plans, with prices ranging from 5,000 yen to 7,000 yen. In addition, rental plans at the official yukata store and plans to bring your own kimono are also available.
