Hakone Kowakuen Unessan (1297 Ninohira, Hakone-cho, Ashigarashita-gun, Kanagawa Prefecture), an all-weather hot spring amusement park, will open its first heated flowing pool in the Hakone area on July 7.
In conjunction with its grand opening on July 12, Hakone Hotel Kowakuen is undergoing its largest-scale renovation since its opening, the first of which will include a new flowing heated pool, “Bozappy River,” and a new kids’ pool, “Pony Lagoon,” for children.
The flowing pool is 1 m deep, 3 m wide, and has a total circumference of approximately 80 m, flowing for about 3 minutes. The kids’ pool is 30cm deep and has a 1m high air slide.
A special discount plan (same-day purchase coupon) commemorating the opening of the new pool will be available from July 7 to 21 (excluding days 15 to 17). Adult admission for junior high school students and older will be reduced from 2,500 yen to 1,800 yen, and for children 3 years and older from 1,400 yen to 1,000 yen.
